Made in China...

I recently went on Tire Rack and looked at their selection of wheels for the Tacoma, namely KMC/KMCXD series, American Racing/ATX, and Enkei, as they are the most reputable brands they offer. All of them were either made in China, Thailand, or Taiwan, which begs the question:

Are there any wheels made in the USA or Japan for the Tacoma?

I know in this day and age quality control is there in those countries to monitor the standard to which aftermarket wheels are produced, but I would have more peace of mind if the wheels were made domestically or in the home country of Toyota. Just my $0.02.

 

Definitely. I'm actually planning to get TRD for my next set/keep my durable SR steelies anyways, but this observation disappoints me.

 

Some American Eagle wheels are made in the US.
