listen, that's great you made it and all, but you may very well now have water inside your diffs, your transfer case and your tranny. unless you extended your breathers. you did extend them, right?

and that's a great way to hydrolock your engine btw.

No diff mod. But I think I got lucky. Everything seemed yo be working fine. If there is any issues in the future ill pull the diff cover and drain it. Air box was dry checked it right after, so no hydro.tranny is getting flushed this week Anyways just reg maintenance. I think ill be ok.

I think these are some of the chances we take, its just the price we pay sometimes to have fun. Unless your loaded and can all the modds, witch I can't.

Looks fun. The rear diff doesn't leak to fast anways. a few more water crossings i would think about new fluid.

extending your breather lines is cheap (a little clear hose and some t connections) and you can do it yourself. if you are going to play in the water like that in the future, i would highly recommend you look into how to do this.

you really don't want to get into a situation where you start sucking water in through your intake. having water above your hood is flirting with disaster unless you run a snorkel. i think you got lucky this time, but i assure you, paying for a hydrolocked engine is not fun :( there's a lot of damage playing in water like that can do if you aren't prepared for it. but hey, it's your truck and do what makes ya happy. :D

Thanks guys I really do appreciate the constructive criticisms. Tacoma brotherhood right!! And I do think I got lucky. Planning on draining the rear diff this week ill let you know how bad it was. I would deff like a snorkle. And I'm going to deff extent my breathers soon to just to be safe. Any post on how-to on the breathers?
