Made my own Glove Box letters

I was going through Amazon and ebay to look for plastic inserts for the tacoma letters by the glove box compartment and the only ones in inferno I could find were decals. Purchased them and while they looked okay I wanted actual plastic inserts. So i got to work on my 3d printer and a week later this is what I came up with.

After 3d printing then acetone smoothing and then minor cutting with exacto knife this is what I came up with:





This weekend I am going to paint them inferno and see how that comes out.

Heres one where I painted 2 letters but the picture makes it look more redish.

ABS plastic. It was so I can Acetone smooth it as ABS works best for that.

 

Those look way better than the decals that are being sold.....how much for a set?

 

Thinking of selling them but currently making a few sets. hopefully I have a few up and ready to sell within a week.

 

Would you share the file so we can make them at home?

Thanks guys. I was thinking 12$ for white and 15$ for painted and shipped within US(will try to have Tacoma colors or try to match as close as possible) but I am not sure yet as I would have to do a few sets first. Let me know what you guys think
