Brackets system is shit and way overrated/overpriced to carry like 25 miles worth of fuel. Scepter ftw.

    IMO of course :D

I like the look of cans as well. My girlfriend will be driving the 4Runner a lot this year though and she hates them. I like when she is happy because it makes my life easier.

    That is my motto lol.

For this build I've been trying to get her input on things as much as possible. I won't let her fully talk me out of something like a bumper, but I'll let her pick the most cosmetically appealing options on what I buy so that she doesn't hate it.

Unfortunately as I work in DT LA, I drive her Fiesta a lot and she drives the 4Runner. She has the better end of this deal.

I have rotopax on the truck and jerry cans on the trailer. The Jerry cans hold more and are better made but are bulky and harder to store. The rotopax travel well and are easy to use. The rotopax are also very pricy. I like having both. Having 2 gallons of gas and water on the truck makes me more comfortable but I hardly use them. I use the jerry cans on the trailer all the time.

Thanks. Bulk is another reason. Still don't have anywhere to store them haha.

    Mademan925,
Is this still your current lift?
-Icon extended travel shocks with 700lb 14" coils
-Icon uniball UCAs w/ dust caps
    -Fox 12" rear resi's
    -Bamf Shock Relocation
-Dakar leaf pack with the add a leaf

If so how did you get the 14" 700lb coil spring for the remote reservoir shocks? I can only find either or?
Also do you have any modifications to the front axle shafts for all the flex you have?

I have the OME kit with Dakars and I want more flex and capability so I might go witha set up that's pretty much identical to what you're running. Any help is appreciated

Nope. no longer running that setup. I had the icon extended travel with 700lb coils and no resis. I strongly advise against 700lb coils unless you run a plate bumper, winch, and full skids. Then I had ALLpro Long travel with fox shock with 700 pound coils.

    Now I have
    Total chaos +2 racing kit
King resi shocks with 700lb coils
    +2 allpro long travel axles
    Wheelers super bumps

    The rear is now
12" fox resis with the bamf shock relocation
    Allpro expos
    Timbrin bump stops
    Allpro ubolt flip

So I have to many photos in the original post on my build. When they redesigned tw they limited the photos per post so I cant go back and update my Build list. Going to start a new build in my wifes name soon.

Why don't you just edit your OP and take out some of the old pics? Or move the old pics to another post

Thanks for the reply! I've always liked your build and it seems like you're always changing it for the best. How do you like your new setup?
Did you run stock front axles with the Icon extended travel setup? I think that's what I'm going with, but without the 700lb coils I guess. I'll only have a winch and skid plate up front for now.
