I should've said the cross member haha... I was thinking 1.25" DOM but have been told 1.5" or 2" but I don't know if that's really necessary

I prefer to use "shock polishing" when referring to the rear shocks.

What made you swap? Looks like you still have decent tread on the MTRs?

The MTRs wore uneven and where loud and were giving me tank track vibes. Falken reached out to lisa because of a all women's she is participating in. They wanted their tires on the rig so we worked something out. so far the ride is great. Cant wait to get them offroad.

I know the new Falkens (both MT and At3W) are pretty decent but have been having a lot of accelerated tread wear. I'm running the ATs and things are pushing half worn with under 10k miles on them. The Jeep guys from Rock Krawler been having issues with the MTs doing the same thing and wearing out under 20k miles.
But there's been a few guys that they've been wearing well so be interesting how these work on yours

Yeah not sure if they aren't consistent with the tire compound or what. Guy I know ran the MTs on his four door JK and they were toast pretty fast, but they are sticky as all hell and gripped rocks and shit like nobody's business. I'm hoping the ATs hold out through the summer for me and I'm gonna toss on Nittos Terra Grapplers. I've been in contact with Falken and Discount tire and they stuck me on their tread wear watch list.

Did @Basikbiker get the frame plates in? If so, did he do it with the bed on the truck? Hard to tell from the pics.
Thinking of doing this as well.

I did get em in without pulling the bed, kind of tricky because of how nicks frame plates fit. I perfer the plates that sit in the frame, you get a better weld surface, but I was able to make it work

Yea both ways are still boxed it's just you get a better joint to weld if you set em in the frame like 3/16". I got mine from that JTA metalworks guy, forget his username on here but his fit in the frame pretty nice.
