Well, some things have happened since the last time I updated this page. I decided to raptor line my truck. the old paint was so bad, it made me cringe to look at it. So here is were I am at to this point.

    Started the disassembly process.

Tomorrow I will wash it good with soap and water, and use some degreaser on it. Then let it dry and get it all taped.

Hopefully I can get it painted Friday and reassembled on Saturday. I have a big trip planned for Colorado in less than two weeks.

Went to NM yesterday and found a set of camper jacks. They wouldn't work on the OVRLND camper, so I laid some 2x4's across them and lifted it off. Worked like a champ.

Look how much lift those springs have in them now!

Are thoes the new springs? It's crazy how much they go up without any weight on them.
Got a pic of the jacks. I'm looking for something to lift mine so I can replace the seal to the bed.

Hit up the CO region page/forum.

Maybe some of us can meet up in the woods or at a local watering hole.

Also (admitting I didn’t get through all the pages of your build) but I see you went from F5s to T4R five star wheels. Any particular reason why?

Mud! I wanted a skinny tire to keep all the mud off my truck.
But if I could ever find a good deal on another set of F5's or the new F5 rims, I would do it.

What are the new F5s? More positive offset?

Sorry, I'm unfamiliar with teh F5 history other than they're the best looking rims for a truck period.

I currently have the 3rd gen T4R rims on my truck. Love them. But would love matte dark bronze F5s even more.

Interesting. I think I like the original design better. Plus the matte dark bronze is epic.

And thank you. Still have to do more work to this truck. Previous Broheim owner did dumb crap to it.

Including the spacer lift on blown shocks and rear leafs… rides like crap. And I’ve had Kings, UCAs and LCAs sitting in my bedroom for four years. Waiting to get my garage back (long story).

Anywho- hit up the CO crew if you want when you’re here.

Do you want a set of OME Dakars with ICON three leaf progressive overload springs?

    Wow. That would be great.

How many miles on them? And price?

You can PM if you want.

Paint is done, now it gets to sit in a buddy's shop for a few days to keep it out of the rain.

How easy was it to apply and get it looking consistent? It looks really even.

The prep work was the hardest part of it all. I purchased the 8 bottle kit and could have used a couple more because of the white over primer.
I also purchased the better spray gun and ran my pressure at 60 psi. Overall I am happy with it.
Spray time was about three hours with 45 minute flash periods.
