    I don't know if this was a good idea. My plan was to redo my swingout to make it lighter. I am not sure I did it right.

    I measured twice and cut everything just right. Only, I forgot about my fold down table. So I will have to add more metal and more weight. So in the end, it will probably be just as heavy.

    I don't think I accomplished a dang thing. Maybe streamlined it a little, but it is still heavy.

    Test fitting the new tire and wheel setup.
    Old, 255-85R16 with 4Runner wheels.

    A lot of massaging and triming will be needed to clear it all.

    Went to the scales today, fully loaded for an upcoming extended trip, my truck weighs 6270 pounds.

    I need to figure out my wants and needs and adjust from there.
