So my truck has had a rough couple of weeks. Started running rough and couldn't get it passed 10 mph the other day. CEL read a leak in the intake and bad MAF. Read a few things online, swapped out the K&N and put the OEM intake back on. Ran great for about a week. other day I'm driving and it stalls out. Starting it back up took a couple tries. Finally get going and I cannot get passed 2000 rpm, no power in any gear. CEL comes back on and reads for low MAF circuit. Upon inspection I find that the ground wire (blue) on the MAF connector has come out. When my buddy holds it in the truck starts great. When he stops holding the wire in the connector it dies. Called toyota and the part/wires are cheap enough. Downside is that the wires are on back order. Read around and haven't found much on this issue. Has anyone ever messed with the MAF Connector? Need to find a quick fix, until the wires come in, so I can get the truck moving. 2012 5 lug.

    None yet
Stuff it in and hot glue it as a quick fix. It's worth a try.
Maybe strip it back a touch before inserting.

yea that!! they do sell pin extraction tools for such things on the net including Amazon. they come in like 4 sizes for different diameter pins and connectors. this coming from a long time industrial mechanic madman:)
