Yes. One of my neighbor's has a 4x4 ext cab. It just looks too much like beige to me.

I like Magnetic Gray. Both my truck and my wife's '07 Camry are Magnetic Gray. One plus for Pyrite though is that it will not show dirt/dust as bad. We used to own a car that was very close to Pyrite Mica and it hid dirt/dust better than any color I've ever owned. Just something to consider. Mag Gray looks dirty after one drive in the rain. It's only marginally better than black. But... when it's clean, it's SWEET.

^ I noticed that also. I've had a grey metallic vehicle before and the dirt showed up alot easier than it did on the pyrite. I would have to say pyrite is second only to silver in hiding dirt.

I like the gray but its really PLAYED OUT, a lot of tundra, tacos, camery ect in that color running around; if it were me I would go with Pyrite.

I don't thinks Mag Gray is played out. It's only been available on the Taco for one year - and I don't see very many around my area. Way more black, silver, blue, red, white, etc. Pyrite is probably slightly more rare than Mag Gray.

I don't know if this is the case in this particular thread, but I don't understand people who post asking "What color should I buy?", etc. Get the color YOU like best and who cares what anyone else thinks! I mean... are you buying the truck for us or for yourself? Just sayin'...

Mag Gray for me. But the dirt does show. Maybe not from a distance but up close it looks like it hasn't been washed ever, even though it's just been washed and waxed. Looks tan after being driven on dirt roads around here.

I have to agree, my Pyrite hides the dirt better than a storm gray (similar to magnetic gray) Frontier I once owned.

I was close to buying Mag. but someone made a good observation. That color blends right in to the asphalt!

Mag Grey. But I'm partial. It does show dirt, but hey...IT'S A TRUCK! They're supposed to get dirty. :)

I got mag gray, it was on the lot. Had it come down to ordering one or the other though, I would have probably flipped a coin, I really like both. One hides dirt a little better and stays a little cooler in summer, the other just looks good.

Honestly I really like the Mag Grey as thats what I've always wanted. However in its short existence, I've seen them everywhere in Socal. Its the HOTTEST new color and everyone has to have it.

I LOVE the new PYRITE and it just looks impressive on the road. I couldn't stop looking @ one the other day.

However @ the end of the day. I'm glad TOYOTA pulled the RAD Red. I love my RAD the most of them all. My second choice is PYRITE behind the RAD.:D

It was a toss up between silver or pyrite and I ended up ordering a pyrite. I got a call today and it will be in in about 2 weeks.
