Old Man Emu 2.5" lift, brush guard (about to be changed), grey-wire mod, custom bed mounts for 4 jerrycans, custom survival box, maglite mount, KC Dayliters.
I used the same clamps when I did mine a while back, but I mounted it to the kick panel on the driver's side. I got the idea from this guy:
    http://www.expeditionswest.com/equipment/tacoma/quick_fist.html

But since I have it attached to the kick panel, I can replace that piece of plastic cheaply if I decide I don't like it anymore.

i thought about that locale, but i'm will probably mount my pistol there sometime in the future. that location will provide easy access and also will let it remain out of sight.

I have a molded holster for my glock and I clip it onto the compartment in the door. You dont have to drill anything and it fits perfectly out of the way. The uncle mikes holster is what i use.
