FWIW ... I have had several "Magic Jacks" and all of them worked very well with MicroSoft InternetExplorer and "hard wired" with a Cat-5 ethernet cable into the desktop.

Recently bought another "Magic Jack" to use on an Apple Laptop (with wireless network) and wanted to know if anyone is using it with a Apple and will it work ??

    ... 3 main questions here ... I guess ...

    (1) Will "Magic Jack" work on a wireless network ??

    (2) Will "Magic Jack" work with an Apple laptop on a wireless network.

    (3) Any complications with this setup ??

Yeah ... I could have download and hooked up all the stuff to check ... but I didn't want to cause "software issues" that could be worse than the hookup. ...

Thanks in advance for any good info. on this ... :D

yes it will work on a mac, my dad bought me one prior to a deployment and i just used the hotel's wifi/telephone in every port we pulled into...made calling home so much easier and cheaper. nothing like calling home to the states and it not costing a dime :D

you could also use skype. skype-to-skype calling is free worldwide and fairly inexpensive if you're calling an actual landline. i used it to talk to my brother when he was living in barcelona a few years back.
