I have no plans to get an exhaust. I see plenty of rangers and S10s with exhaust and they sound dumb. Our trucks aren't beasts. They don't have monster power and aren't monster trucks. I drove a V6 mustang for 6 years and left it stock for the very same reason. I saw dual-exhaust V6s all the time and just wanted to slap them around and remind them they were in a 190 hp car.

Lifts, tires, suspension - all GREAT on a tacoma because they play on the strengths of the truck and make them more capable. Exhaust on our trucks is right up there with a tailgate spoiler in my book. S/C it, then maybe you deserve an exhaust...maybe.

I had the OEM exhaust put back on this morning. Aaaahhhh... much better. The Magnaflow exhaust is on sale in the Buy/Sell/Trade forum. Check it if you are interested!

Thanks guys for weighing in on this!!!

Glad we could help. Merry Christmas and enjoy your "new" stock exhaust. Isn't the sound of quiet, so wonderful?
