Magnaflow system 19275 ?

I have been looking to upgrade my stock exhaust on my 2.7. Trying to get a little performance gain and sound. I just put on a K&N intake, and want to pair it with an exhaust. Is anyone running a magnaflow catback bolt on system? This kit is on sale right now. I cant find a ton of feedback on it online, seen a couple posts of guys saying they like it..

Performance gains will be very minimal, and the sound of the Magnaflow with the 2.7l 4 is probably not going to be what you are hoping for. I have also used K&N CAI's and filters in a number of vehicles and motorbikes, but with the K&N in the Tacoma you lose the CAI capability of the OEM Airbox system, and in hot weather, it can actually reduce performance. While it makes a lot of noise when under full throttle, you can gain much of that with a K&N air filter in the OEM airbox, and removing the resonator. To me it is wasted money to purchase either.

 

Magnaflow for me. No performance gains Op. IMO I like it

 

Do you have a magnaflow muffler or do you have the bolt on kit i posted above ?

 

Just had muffler put in kept Oem pipes and cut pipe at axle. I like the clean look no exhaust poking out. Sounds great IMO.

 

I was considering an over the axle dump like that too, looks good.

 

The 19275 kit is a 3" tailpipe back
