Anyone have pictures they can share of their magnetic gray truck without a fresh coat of wax on it? Looking to see how bad the swirl marks are.

Thanks for the help it is greatly appreciated

Mine has some faint swirls on it the only time I am able to see them is when the sun hits it just right. I highly doubt I would be able to get them to show up in a picture. Are you wanting to remove them on your truck?

no. thinking about getting a magnetic gray and dont want to deal with the swirl marks. understable when the sun hits it just right and your a foot away. but looking at it from 10 feet away in partly cloudy weather wont be tolerable.

I don't have any (currently at 9k), I never use automated car washes that touch the paint, those are evil ;-)

As already stated above it will depend on the individual care. Read up on the two bucket wash method. Swirl marks happen in the clear coat and show up more noticeably in darker colors(black is the worst). A good detailer can remove swirl marks. The key is after care and that is where the two bucket wash method comes into play.

Paint on my truck is great, no swirls, orange peel or any thing like that.

This Is how I wash my vehicle. If you take care of it it will take care of you :D
Most cars and trucks have swirls from the dealer because they are not washed properly. Swirls are easy to remove if you have the right tools.

Swirls are induced...be it bad owner technique, dealer washes, letting the guys at the local car wash dry the car, etc, etc.

I have very few on my truck and I'm very careful how I wash it.

I had a black one and it swirled a bit. had to wax it and they buffed out. I dont think any color is more prone to the swirls. Ive never noticed a magnetic gray truck that looked terrible...
