Not at all. If you do it right, it will last about three years until you really need to worry about doing it again. I've had my emblems done for about eight months and I run on the trails, beach and mud then clean it all with a pressure washer with no problems.

    Hey everyone,
    First time poster here.
I just purchased a 2014 Toyota Tacoma and I want to add some eye candy to it.

I've purchased a 3" front lift and 2" back lift kit and now I want to get some rims and tires.

I like black rims and want the tires to be flush with the fenders.

I am looking for something that looks like this.

Can anyone tell me what size rim and tires I'd need to purchase for this to happen?

    I currently have P245/74R16's

I don't want the tires sticking out past the fender, so I am thinking 17" or 18"/

Thanks for any assistance and I apologise if this is the wrong place to ask

    Cheers,

The diameter of the wheel wont determine how far it will stick out. You could always keep the stock wheels and add a spacer. I'm thinking off adding some Spidertrax 3/4" spacers to get mine flush.

I'm using the AFE cold air intake and I love it. I needed the truck to sound as mean as it looks. Paired up with the TRD exhaust it sounds bad ass. I also like the dry lifetime filter idea. Checked with my dealer and it does not void any warranty either.

I'm running the ko2s and they haven't let me down in winter or summer wheeling. Especially in the winter the truck did some amazing climbs on very icy trails. My buddy was running band new duratracs and he was struggling even tho he has a rear locker and I don't. In the mud they have been great as well. We do some serious wheeling and I couldn't be happier with the ko2s. Longest tread life and warranty in the industry doesn't hurt either. In the city they stop on snowy/icy roads just as well as the blizzaks on my 4Runner. Love them around town as well. I see tons of both duratracs and ko2s on all kinds of rigs, a lot of ppl swear by both. I'm sure you will be happy with either choice.
