Thanks man. I bought a sport grille and took out the color surround to put it in my current grille. Probably the expensive way to do it. I have seen others paint the chrome surround, but I wasn't quite up to that task.

Looking input here...I am wanting to dip the emblems and bumper (since I have a damn chrome rear bumper not color matched) but I don’t know if shadow or anthracite would look best. My main concern is the color for the rear bumpers because of the caps. Can you offer input? Did you try the shadow or go right to anthracite?

I did black to avoid any color match issues. The top coat also affects how the color appears, so take that into consideration

I’m not aware of top coat applications for the hyperdip product. I’m definitely going with black to hide the chrome. Is there anyone that has feedback on hyperdip (either shadow or anthracite) vs plastidip black or smoke? I have stock front bumper and wheel well trim (flare?) pieces.

Oh I missed the part about hyper dip. I was referring to the factory clear coat skewing the aftermarket plastidip match. Good luck!

Yeah thanks. I was actually hoping for input from drewatrous as that was the person posting re: the anthracite hyperdip.

Upgraded to 33s and bronze wheels. Love the bronze/mgm combo.
