Magnuson SC plus other stuff

You and me both haha updated the OP Magnuson says part differences between the fj and taco fit kit is 650$. I still think most parts would fit and perhaps you just need an intercooler but 650 is worst case scenario

 

I remember coming across a good deal on a TRD supercharger for an FJ. I looked into the compatibility and the only 2 differences were the hood support bracket and the inlet/outlet ports on the heat exchanger...

 

Thanks for the info, hood support bracket is useless if running an aftermarket bumper or at least on the fj it is. Yeah the intercooler is what I think might not work but you can probably get that for less than 650 if that's all you need. The sales guy was telling me the coolant pump was different...at that point I became skeptical.

I'm very interested but my concern is the fitment. If the ports on the radiator are in different locations, it might not be just a matter of different hoses, and finding the right hoses will take some effort.

 

The ports are on the driver side which both systems have the coolant lines routing through. I would think perhaps the intercooler just doesn't physically fit is the problem.

If you are capable of installing this kit then you should be able to figure out how to build/alter some heater core hoses.. like I said I had to alter it due the demello bumper, it's not that big of a deal, AutoZone sells 90 degree and coupler fittings.

 

OP updated. FJ SOLD last weekend with SC installed. Thanks for the interest and sorry it didn't work out for those interested.
