Nozzle position and size yes. I’m boosting 6-7 pounds with no signs of pinging or concern... just acquired the truck. I own Black Canyon Performance in Wheat Ridge, so am knowledgeable about W/M systems to an extent!

Well I'm pretty close to you, Parker, you can run a 2" pulley and get 10 pounds of boost but will have to have a Progressive methonal kit with a number 2 nozzel and you will get about 250hp at the rear wheel with no
ECU moods, or a 7th injection kit, if you have an ERG like me the choice is methonal. It's not a Porsche but then a Porsche will NEVER go 500,000 miles or 300,000 miles on an original motor.
You can get away using a Number 1 nozzel and will get about 1500 miles per gallon.
Its about dealing with the ping.
Number 2 nozzel you will get about 400 miles per gallon and will keep the temperatures way way down on the supercharger and will add .75 of boost because the added liquid that seals up the rotors
If you run a 2.2 or 2.1 pulley at 6000 feet I didn't have any ping issues
My setup runs great from 6000 feet to 12,000 in altitude
If you want more power turbo is the way to go and you can get 300 hp at the rear wheel
