I don’t like the gauge mount. I’d rather have a vent mounted one, but I couldn’t find a good option. The craven speed one I have no looks fine but the mounting system makes it want to rub the steering wheel if you have heavy gauges on it. I had to remove my steering wheel and sand it down on the back to clear the mount. I found some quality control errors in my steering column so it may just be that my Tacoma is a Wednesday car lol. Also the gauge will either block your Temp, fuel, or 0-30mph, you have to choose one thing to block... I chose fuel. I generally use my mpg and odometer to decide that anyway.

just get a no weld bung. They work fine if you install them properly.

Did you see the prototype 3D printed vent gauge holder that @MESO posted?

I’m using the Innovate dual wideband gauge. My spec-u y-pipe had an extra bung on the passenger side and I ended up just using a no weld clamp on bung for the driver side. I might get a bung welded later, but for now it works and doesn’t seem to be leaking.

There’s also the vent mount from Bigetaco22. I picked up one for my oil pressure gauge. Haven’t had the chance to install it yet though. The vent mount is solid. Looks well made.

That’s a good looking mount! Is the gauge mounted in a slight angle towards the driver?

I prefer the no nonsense design of yours. The MESO is very nice too though.
I’m curious how do you route the boost line and wiring inside the AC duct? Do you drill a hole and use a grommet I guess?

That’s exactly what I did with a boost gauge mounted in a vent on my 02 WRX.

Both are function so that's all that matters:) Mine is just temporary so I can cross reference data as I tune the TacoPods. I like my air ducts too much lol.

Back on Superchargers, anyone turn up the boost yet?

The AFR gauge on my 04 is mounted to the dash using double side mounting tape. To be extra I got the expensive kind that's supposedly used in museums. It's definitely not fancy but it works.

I have a cutout in the side to route cabling through. Then out and around the duct.

One really nice thing about the app connected models is that you can easily check to see if a shop has begun working on your truck (as the hood is indicated to be open in the pic below). In my case, I dropped it off on Tuesday and it sat until Wednesday morning. This is perfectly reasonable because without the software from Magnuson they could have a completed vehicle sitting on a lift that can’t be started, keeping them from working on the next customer.

I just picked up my truck and it is a huge upgrade! I’ll be putting on lots of miles tomorrow driving back to Portland so I’m sure I’ll have a more thorough opinion. I had them mount my JLT oil separator as per recommendations in this thread and you can see there is plenty of room for my Powertray and SwitchPro setup (which is why the compressor isn’t wired up yet).
