    list is growing fast
Maybe even less. The stock dyno starts at 3k, the SC dyno starts closer to 3100 RPM. That curve is pretty steep. It might not have any gains at 3k RPM.

Sounds like this has more whine...

Really though, the tvs1900 should be a capable blower when turned up. The old TRD sc was just meh from factory and is pretty much the same for the tvs1900 for the 3rd gen. Warranty will always be there to protect the manufactures end, not the other way around. To me it’s a false sense of insurance for the end user because of the limiting factor from the output set by the manufacturer.

You do know there is 3 types right depending on which carolina and where. Eastern NC is vinegar, W NC is Ketchup, and SC is mustard pick your poison.

Well - Magnuson updated their website with a whole bunch of disclaimers now about gearing, tires, exhaust, weight, etc...

Looks like an opportunity for someone to start writing tunes to incorporate OVT's shifting logic combined with Magnuson's engine/fuel parameters.

My buddy with the SC told me that the vFT tune from Magnuson is locked in vF. So someone would basically have to contact Magnuson and offer to buy an unlocked map, or start making their own supercharger maps

highly likely they will use Mat's Tunes in .VFT format for gearing and tires as a base and work from there. Since they say you may have to take it to a shop for tune revision it may be possible to use the VFTuner software if you have it. ?? Time will tell. No 4.88 gearing tune = No Magnuson. I'll just stick to OVTune 2.0 final if that is the case. The Gladiator just came out with a 3.0 turbo diesel and the reviews are higher than the Tacoma. ?? The mother ship better get it's shit together. Soon.

That doesn't seem like much torque, I am excited to see how they handle real world abuse.

Is this the model in our Gen3's AT's?

I've had superchargers on both my 1st gen and 2nd gen trucks and if those are any indication, I wouldn't be too worried about the gains you're seeing in these initial installs. Magnuson and Toyota both care about reliability more than anything. They are not going to push the limits for big gains on mass produced units with their name on it. That will be your job :) They've given you the keys, and this forum is your toolbox to unleash the reins on this thing. That was definitely the case for us 2nd gen guys. You wouldn't believe how dialed down both the stock 4.0 and the base TRD/Maggy SC units are. Our initial TRD tune for the 2nd gen blower was made to be a one size fits all solution that definitely sacrificed power and efficiency to be an extra large safety blanket. Magnuson gave you the hardware, but luckily for you (and them), you have a huge tuning resource already in the platform. Do the same thing @12TRDTacoma did and start a dedicated thread for this blower and run with it. These dyno numbers you're seeing are just the beginning. I'm excited for you guys and looking forward to seeing what you can do with this blower as well as the TT.
