depends on the parasitic loss to the blower. but i also know magnuson is very conservative. int he end this kit does make good power and every single part of the kit is well made, works as intended and is perfectly fit

I didn't say anything in regards to current power, fitment, etc. I've said the same thing before, very well made setup.

well this one is a bit hard, the truck was stock wheel, stock size at tires, and enough gear in the back for it to be sagging. dont know how much but my guess 300lbs and i weigh 300 too.

At the time, I did those runs to compare Stock to the tune. I never got the tune runs in since I have to get up north for safety. Unfortunately, I didn't get the new runs in before swapping to ATs. I still want to get some comparo. The torque bump, 7,250 limiter, and no 1st torque limits should prove out?

    I'm a shitty 230lb - 240lb.

300lb in the back should be a small factor on a 4k curb weight. Less than 8%. 1st and 2nd shouldn't feel it much? A couple tenths?

What altitude are you at? If it's high altitude then it's not that bad, TFL trucks test Tacoma at high Altitude all the time and they get around mid 9's 0-60 but if it's around 1000ft then that's pretty bad lol

Was hoping to see it drop the Taco to mid 6's at the very least for that kind of price.

That dude is your friend? He posted on the local Tacoma Facebook group. All about watching his videos and following him on Instagram. I asked him about 0-60 and/or dyno videos and he told me we should wait for the 2 month update. I told him sounded like clickbait and his response was that I need to get laid. Sounds like a stand up guy....

I see, well if that was a fully open throttle 0-60 then it's pretty bad lol, TRD Pro Tacos are a bit slower from what I have normally seen and this kit didn't really improve much.

Premature statement without seeing datalogs or AFR readings on this out of the box setup. The 2nd gen blower had plenty of room for more air and smaller pulleys in the initial tune before fuel limits and upgrades came into play. May or may not also be the case here.

Need an AFR gauge and some readings.

I think his point was that air isn't the cause of the current lackluster performance. Even without changing pulleys, or adding fuel upgrades an unrefined tune is more likely the issue.

So who is going to be the first to write a new tune for the SC??

And the counter point is if the tune is overly rich, i.e., too much fuel, than more air could potentially make the tune more efficient and produce more power. This was the case with the super rich TRD tune on the 4.0 blower. Just need more data on the tune to say what the case is. Air may not be the issue, but it could help.

Which is a tuning issue before it's a pulley issue.

I prefaced it by saying it was a fat assumption. Most likely wrong. Either way, I think we all were expecting more. :bored:
