What did everyone use to hold the crank pulley so the bolt can be torqued?

Honestly, I got mine as close as I could by hand and holding the pully with a oil filter strap until it started slipping. Then I gave it one good/quick brrrrrp with the impact and called it. I should be in the ballpark +/-.

I keep holding off on tuning my 6MT in hopes I can swing getting this early next year. Driving in the mountains here is not quite the same in the 6MT as in my Expy tuned for 93 octane....

I hear you the only complaint I have about my truck is the power. The OTT tune definitely helped but it still feels like it needs more. I already reached out to my tuner and he’s going to tune it for the Maggy.

I sent the first calibration form to Magnuson on Tuesday and I still haven’t heard back. How long does it typically take? I was hoping to get it installed this weekend, but if the first one is taking this long I probably won’t have the tune in time.

Food for thought, if you intend to do a smaller pulley or run an aftermarket tune like OTT, you could go ahead and work with them now and use that tune out of the gate.

I feel like when I submitted my form for the original Magnuson tune, I had the initial tune file within about 48 hours. I received an email from a Ryan Martin (CC'd Mark Blaha) informing me that the serial for my WiFlash unit was registered. I responded to that email directly and let him know that I also submitted the tune information form as well and he responded to that about 15 minutes later with the tune file. Perhaps I just caught him at his down time. With that said, the difference between the stock maggy tune and the OTT tune was night and day for me, even on my manual truck.

Install took me two days and taking my time.

OTT wont send you the tune without you vetting the install with the Magnuson tune to verify everything is running alright. 100 miles or more

Just got the email that it’s registered! Hopefully if I fill out the second calibration form tonight I’ll have it back for the weekend.
