    Yeah
That’s the best price I’ve found.
I know Down East off road doesn’t charge taxes or shipping. I can’t remember if NP Motorsports charges for either of those.

I wonder what that means. How can someone sell them unauthorized?

Do you get a better warranty if you get it installed at a Toyota dealer? Seems like I read that somewhere; there is a Toyota dealer not too far from me who installs them.

Not that I know of. I purchased mine from TacomaBeast, which drop ships from Magnuson, and had mine installed at a Toyota dealership in Bend, Oregon. I’m fairly sure, based on my serial number, that mine is one of the first 10 for 3rd gen’s and the dealership had installed one 3rd gen kit before me so I knew they had some experience.

I've ran through a bunch of authorized dealers in my region and unfortunately none actually sell the Tacoma kit (at least not via the web).

That’s not much of a warranty anyway.

For those who have installed the kit, has anyone adjusted their oil change/maintenance frequency from Toyotas recommended maintenance schedule?

Is there any reason to change based on the additional strain on the engine/drivetrain? Or have you all found the factory schedule sufficient?

Toyota says with full synthetic you can go 10,000 miles which seems insane. I change mine about every 6000 miles.

You could always do your first oil change at 6,000 miles and then send out a sample to Blackstone to see what they recommend.

I'm at 5k from personal preference. Which means I change my oil 2 times a year.

Just an update for everyone. I did my plug change since I'm over 30k since adding the SC. I've run mine pretty hard for testing of mods and dyno runs, so I'm kinda not surprised with the condition of my plugs. It took just over an hour mostly because I didn't want to rush and make a mistake. I honestly prepared myself for a headache with the driver side, but it wasn't bad at all! The thing you have to do is take off all the hoses and release the little grey box bracket in order to get to the middle plug. All the other plugs were really straight forward.

I went with the denso factory gaps when I first added the SC. I've been really busy lately and haven't really had time, but forced myself to get this done and ordered new plugs from denso
NGK DILFR7K9G (platinum pin on the ground electrode) #91961" then reduced their gap to 0.03 based on previous input from others who I trust.

One thing to note is that when I checked for gap, these all were there. .03 is really narrow and as sensitive as these tips are I didn't want to bend anything. Just in my opinion.

Needless to say the engine runs beautiful....

I hope your airbag never goes off. Be careful working around there... may want to put it down lower / away from the airbag.

This thought crossed my mind. I figure the A pillar cover either a) is designed not to become a projectile if the bags go off or b) would suck to get hit by anyway so a little more plastic to the cranium shouldn't be much worse. The wiring on the guages will keep it from flying very far. It is something to consider for anyone attempting this mod.

I need to work on it a bit more to look better, but functionally it's G2G.

it deploys from the door side of the pillar, flipping the A pillar cover up towards the windshield.
