    Yes.
    You can contact Magnuson.
After some pics they may send you a different cap.
I got a new one that fixed it.
    Hope this helps.

I have a 2018 with a habitat on it and live in Montana, she is my DD and have been looking at the SC since it came out. Really looking for a few things,
1- A MPG increase would be amazing, but just looking for it to not get any worse.
2- Better highway driving to and from trails. Montana has a lot of 70-80 MPH roads, that paired with winds can make driving this truck a pain in the @$$.
I have been bawking at sticker, my dealer is offering instal for $8,200 (i want all warranties intact). Do you guys that have it think it would cover all my desires? if not, I may be looking to go full-size... yikes.

You will get slightly worse or equal gas mileage and it requires 91 octane.
It will more than fix your highway issues though.
You can easily install yourself or have a shop do it for around $1000-1500

I think the software is leaving some better performance and most likely better MPG's on the table but it sure drives a hell of a lot better!

You better ask dealer/installer about warranty. The Magnuson warranty is 3yrs / 36 k miles from date vehicle went into service (day it was driven off the lot). So if your vehicle is 3 yrs old or has 36k or more miles you are only eligible for the one year parts warranty. Install is easy. Toyota OEM warranty will likely be denied by dealer unless they do install and even then they may deny. IMO the SC is worth the price but I did the install and that was part of the fun. GL.

What he said. The Magnusson warranty starts the day your truck was originally purchased. If you bought it in 2018 you're only going to have a couple months of warranty after the install other than the standard 12 months.

Sent an email to Maggy (Ryan) last week about tune update they said was soon to come in May. Nada. Zip. Closed lip. Crossing fingers they are using Mat's 2.0 ultimate shifting logic and it will come SOON!

matt was pretty adamant about not being a part of the tuning process every time it was mentioned. You sure they are going to use the 2.0 shifting logic?

If its anything like the SC then Magnuson should almost have it done, 2 more years.

I asked Magnusson what they do to accommodate for 4.88s and 33s in their tune. I received the following

"Good Friday afternoon, our calibration is for the most part the same for all vehicles with minor exceptions for wheel/tire and gear combinations.
We also do not tune for shift points."

No hint that the v8 tune will be adjusted at all for shift points. It sounds like our only option is going to be if OVT releases the FI tuning options.

Mat made it clear he would not do the tune - BUT they have full access to the software and patches in 2.0 to use the adjusted shift points (a patch that was part of the Tunes Mat released with his new FM). So who knows - maybe they will use the newest patches in the SW to fix the OEM shifting. If not - someone will in time create a tune that has them - I hope.... Until then I just use S mode more than D when I want to stop the drunk monkey from controlling my shifting! Honestly it (SC) makes the truck so much easier to drive compared to the N.A. engine.

Fingers crossed, but I'm not ordering the S/C until I know there's a solution. I emailed Magnuson and said as much. They probably have an instant 100k in revenue from those of us waiting to be able to tune the S/C.
