You get to wait 5-6 weeks just like this poor old veteran! ;-).

Should have bought one at the end of 20/early 21. Bunch of places had them in stock sitting.

they have a Veteran discount and they are not hard to install. If you have tools and general knowledge of using torque wrenches it is really pretty simple. Maybe look on your local TW Regional page and see if there is a TW member that can help you out. If you were here in Colorado I'd assist you. GL.

I know I can easily install it if I had the time. Do you know how much the veteran discount is? Maybe I'll give magnuson a call directly tomorrow.

not sure but they offer that discount and the price includes shipping and taxes - and I think there was an additional discount for cash purchase. All in all the best out the door price I have seen was like $6250 posted by someone on one of these Magnuson threads. GL.

Magnuson has a 10 week lead time. And offered no military discount. Just free shipping, and no credit card fees. Every place I called won't have anything for at least 4-6 weeks. Found one place that got a shipment of two as I was chatting with them. Bit the bullet. $6500 shipped, no tax, no CC fees. Considering all the crazy wait times, i'll take it. Now I need to try to find time to do it myself, or have a shop do it. Getting a few quotes now. What is a fair price for install on this kit on a 20 pro?

can't say what a shop would charge you. I did mine in my garage. Be sure you are aware of the Magnuson Warranty - the 3 yr /36K miles starts from the day the truck went into service - not the day you do the install. If you are over any of these you get the standard 1 yr on parts. So don't let a shop take you to the cleaner on it with bs talk about warranty. The install in very well detailed in the documents sent to you. The most difficult part is removal and torquing (204 ft/lb) of the crank pulley bolt. The rest is simple if you have the tools and time.

Hi, I'm getting my Magnuson installed next week. In the meantime I've been meaning to get the truck dynoed for some baseline numbers. A local dyno vendor mentioned to me that I must put the vehicle in "dyno mode" and that disabling traction control is not the same thing. Anyone know how to get this thing in "dyno mode?" I have a 2020 4wd 6 speed manual...

I got a few PMs on where I got mine. I called TONs of dealers. No one had one in stock. However TPS Motorsports 2705 Lafayette St, Santa Clara, CA 95050 @ (408) 898-4632 got two kits in last night. One is still available for immediate shipping. Get it while you can! Everyone else had no eta or 10+ week wait time. https://www.tpsmotorsports.com/

Currently waiting on my magnuson supercharger for my 2019 TRD PRO tacoma, this will be my 3rd supercharged tacoma. Super excited to have a S/C Tacoma again. I plan to take my tacoma to the track and get some before and after times, hopefully it will be faster than my Gen2 S/C Tacoma’s were (8.7 sec 1/8 mile).

Man I miss my 2nd gen SC Tacoma. If they lowered the kit price down to $4,500 (or even $5,000) I think a lot more people (including myself) would get one

I think there is always room for more :notsure: but I have thoroughly enjoyed the truck post s/c install. Yes it has some quirks with the tuning but I feel its well worth it. If the price was lower I think the line to get one would be much larger.

Going from lifted + 33's + 4.88 gears towing to towing with the SC its a big difference. When towing it adds a third testicle to the little Sienna motor and I have no regrets about adding it. Our trailer is around 4500 lbs and on the 8% grade we pull it handled like a boss.
