So yesterday i made a 100 mile commute and felt that jerk again and it usually happens when in traffic and let off the gas pedal. Anyone have this issue? It was a little hard too as if the transmission mount was loose.

Yeah, it happens to me too. It feels like a delay action of torque converter lock releasing.

I glad to hear I’m not the only one. Doesn’t feel good. Hopefully, it won’t cause damage. I sent a message out to magnuson this morning see what they say.

My truck is in the shop to get an upgraded ceramic/organic hybrid clutch installed so I can tow with boost without slipping.
This is the first time my truck has been worked on by someone other than me. I hate it, but I didn’t have time to work on it this week. Send prayers lol.

I’m excited to be able to put the power down a bit more quickly though. Once I take on the axle hop she’s going to be very speedy off the line.

Could you please provide some info on this clutch, why you selected it and $$? I will also be towing with the Maggy.
    Thanks

$620 for clutch kit, $100 for OEM TOB, $50 for flywheel resurface and $750 for install after taxes.
So $1520 OUCH. Next time I’ll DIY. I needed the truck quick to tow though.

the shop finished it same day.

I selected the stage 2.5 (FX250) clutch masters clutch because that’s what they reccomended for my usage and power. Also it is currently the ONLY in stock upgrade clutch anyone has avaliable.

    How do you like it??

I like the slow engagement and travel of the stock clutch, is that retained or is it more "racecar" like?

I’m going to need to put more miles on it. So far I like. It is more aggressive, but not like an on off switch. Pedal is softer but it grabs probably 3x more easily. It takes more finesse to get a smooth shift.

Anyone seen this mod for make the whine louder? Pretty funny. The whine is directed into the cabin. I'm sure you can barely hear it from the outside which is what everyone wants in order to flex a little. The ricer side of me may give it a shot.

For the Maggy Charger? They might still have a few in stock and get it to you very quick.

Best bet is to search facebook by date. Usually companies post their in stock kits. Message them... buy immediately... no wait. Thats what I did.
