Why don’t you do the swap then? Let all of us know how it goes during your build. By that time maybe the supercharger will be out and you can see which is a better choice.

    Mostly stuff I built.
When the time comes I most likely will. At current time my truck has 50k ish miles on it and there is no need to swap an engine into it yet. I did however speak with Clutch Masters yesterday about a one off Flywheel and clutch for 3.9l Cummins to RC62F.

I don’t know what y’all expected? I told y’all it wouldn’t be for a 3rd gen. Looks like everyone will have to wait for ov tune and his boost setup.

Will the OV tune ever be finished? pg.1100 and updates every week, which is good yes that its getting fine tuned but a lot of people are looking for something a bit more simplified then a laptop in the truck every month for a new tune. Some enjoy this but i think most are looking for a finished product.

Laptop hell, I have to drag my desktop out to update my truck! But will it be finished, one day I’m sure, by these trucks are so new that it is just a big learning curve. I’m happy for the updates, it makes the money I spent worth it that he is constantly addressing issues brought to him by the community.

But give it a year and I’m sure updates will slow way down because most of the bugs will be worked out of the tuning.

That's pretty shitty of a company to poke fun at 3rd gens. Something about it just kind of rubs me the wrong way. Like, do they not know they're missing out on a huge profit from all the people that would by one?

At this rate I am more confident in @Gadget@URD having a supercharger before Magnuson Superchargers and I don't think I have ever witnessed a thread about him mentioning plans for 3rd gen Tacoma.

I asked magnuson last month to take a full deposit and requesting serial number #1, they blew me off and I went long travel instead. I would't buy their kit unless they gave me a steep discount.

I've been wanting a blower but I really don't think I want to buy one from them based off how they have acted about it.

If everyone thought like this, everyone in the tuner world would just LS swap everything.

Brand new truck right? U've got 7 years or something like that till smog. LOL!

Did you guys actually think the rest of society would of gave a shit about supercharging a 3rd gen Taco? hahahaha. Look how many supercharged 2nd gens are running around compared to some sort of Chevy or Ford V8 motor.

I don't know why some on here are crying. Magnuson promised NOTHING to you guys. All they said was a blower is coming. It didn't say a 3rd gen Tacoma blower is coming.

I'd maybe buy one, it's apparent the 3rd gen supercharger is on the back burner and lets be honest sales wouldn't dare compare to say the camaro, charger, challenger, etc...

Not even close. They would probably sell 3 to everyone 1 someone for their 3rd gen buys

Actually they did. I emailed them late last year and they said the 3rd gen supercharger would be coming in mid 2018. Magnuson is such a piece of shit and so arrogant by the fact that they think this product should be developed in secrecy under DARPA. We all know it’s coming and they won’t be transparent. It’s obvious they’re having issues with the tune or performance which is why it’s been delayed.
