Was wondering if anyone else has had or is having this problem.
The main LCD display screen has just starting going nuts. All has been well with 18k miles, all of the sudden the screen goes black. Comes back on again showing the start-up screen. Goes off again, repeat, repeat....
when it goes off, I have no audio, phone loses Bluetooth connection, etc. ‍♂️
Coincidentally, my wife has an ‘18 Highlander. Has the SAME issue. I can’t be the only one to have this problem. Any info. would be greatly appreciated.

Take a video of it acting up and take it to the dealer . That way you have proof in case it's functioning properly while there .

It's been a known issue. Either software related or sometmes the entire unit has been replaced.
As stated above. Get video and schedule a service appointment

I had this happen as well. Unpair your phone, then re-pair. When the screen pops up asking to sync your contacts, decline and complete the pairing. The issue has to do with the contact list. This solved the problem but unfortunately you lose functionality.

Too many trucks and mods to list.. check builds
Are your contacts paired to the radio? I’ve noticed a lot of radio issues with Toyota’s stemming from having 150-200+ contacts.

Hi, I’m having a similar problem with my screen as well. Sometimes when I start the truck, the display screen is white, it’s functional and all options are available, but the color is all white/ light colors- not the typical black/blues. Anyone find this an issue? 2013 stock radio unit
