Nice! I was thinking of doing something custom when I get a new truck to make it more unique. I'll have to keep him in mind.

I have a nice latter stand I’m looking to trade or sell if your interested. I bought it last year unfortunately I was only able to use it for one season because my buddy sold his property. My other stands are climber...if your interested I can take pic of her she is super comfy and pretty silent if you get bored and start to Fidgett around...

    Ty I appreciate it.
I don’t have the area or permission to use a ladder stand.
It’s the only way I would do a stand though.
I had a chance to get another one and I had to turn it down too.
    Thanks for the consideration..
(I’ll probably kick myself in a few years lol)

Howdy. Looking for some direction here. I've utilized state parks and public camping all over New England. Whenever in Maine, it's more of a pop in a general store and ask what's around deal.

In regards to state camping and fees, how does that process work in Maine? Shack check in? Tag and pay box? Anyone have experience with first come first serve sites in Western Maine? Looking at Rangeley to north of Baxter park. Anything around Moosehead as well exluding the state park on the lake. I'm familiar with that one.

Any and all input is greatly appreciated!

And as a bonus, anyone have a nice Sunday drive on a lengthy dirt road they'd like to share? Thanks!

    Have a great day.

I have got a few sites at Lilly Bay that were first come/First serve, but need to get there by like 11 am. I hear Rangeley state park tends to have open sites, just go to the park check in and pay them is how it typically works.

If you looking for a spot up around Moosehead, I think I found a free spot(s) when I was up there a few weeks ago.

Saturday ride on a long dirt rode always sounds like fun.

It's been a number of years since I've done it, but if you're in the Rangeley area the South Arm Road used to be a good dirt road cruise. Starts at the base of Lower Richardson lake and connects with another road (whose name escapes me) that takes you all the way up the side of Mooselookmeguntic and spits you out onto 17

Awesome. I might be able to get that in as I go towards Eustis. Thanks you.

There's a dirt road cruising route that will take you from Rangeley to Eustis, as well, rather than taking 16, but I have no idea what the road names are. I always just used my Gazetteer and picked out the route as I went.
