About 4 inches of snow and an inch of crusty ice underneath it in Wales. The GF is questioning my decision to let it melt, so I bet her 'weekend cooking' vs 'weekend laundry' that the driveway will be melted clear by Saturday morning

If it's looking questionable Friday evening I'll scatter some salt when I go out to put the birds away for the night

Shrug. Supposed to be 50 and sunny on Thursday and Friday; Between that and the ground melting it from below that should do it.

Portland's a heck of a commute from pretty much anywhere in Franklin County...Sure it's not a different truck? On the other hand, I can't imagine there's too many Red G2 Tacoma's with an RTT on an aluminum cap running around, either.

Yup I usually saw the truck on outer Commercial St. it wasn't there everyday but it could be seen pretty regularly four almost a year now, Red 2nd gen Tacoma with an RTT on aluminum cap and I do think the plates were Alaska License Plates. I remember first seeing his truck an thinking that RTT is really high up there compared to mine on my CBI rack. We actually followed one another out of Portland one night after work when I had my RTT on my truck last year, I think it must have look pretty cool :)

Sheriff's dept said that there were no fatalities or serious injuries, so that's good. But it's a bummer about the truck; hopefully he was well-insured so they'll cover his RTT too.

Thats a wicked bummer. I had no idea he had been around the area that long. Only saw him over the past few weeks

Does anyone know if he has an account on here?

My driveway is nearly all melted.. didnt last more than 2 days... grass has 2 or so inches.. was nearly all thawed out.. was planning to rake all the driveway plowings back into the driveway from the yard... but guess ill have to wait a bit.. overtime took a huge dip... so trying to scrounge for a rack, and RTT... really dont want to sleep on the ground in a tent... but will do what I have to.. did stop at cabelas the other day.. picked this up for $25.99

Mine was still completely covered as of this AM, but I have high hopes for some serious meltage with the sunny day we've got out there now.

2 sided cutting board, my first thought was, wonder what they call the other side to all the other cutting boards, but then I read the description and get what they are saying now.

Looks like it might be a nice piece of kit.

And Ive been rocking the ground tent for a few years now between hiking and getting into the truck thing. Not the worst thing in the world. And very budget friendly. Im just now getting to the point where Im seriously considering a rack and RTT - which has led me to the conclusion there is no good solution. Its always a compromise of something

cot, got wife and I cots about 10 years ago, increased camping time, as its way easier to get up off the cot versus the ground.
