Monday night/Tuesday i was able with the help of some Facebook friends from NH, and TW people find these.... $600 pair of Mobtown offroad sliders with top plates... I looked them up... $950 plus shipping cost and a 16 week wait time...

    92361282_10157242730517794_6294780403471351808_o.jpg

a buddy from NH was able to drive to NJ pick them up for me on tuesday afternoon, I paid the man via Paypal, and my friend loaded them up into his taco, and drove up from Jersey to Kittery Maine around 5pm (I cannot leave the state without being put on 2 week, (no work/reduced pay, costs me comp time/vacation time) quarantine from the faciility due to the COVID-19 buisness).. I paid him $140 for his help and cover gas, dinner/lunch and tolls. loaded them into my tacoma, and drove home, reached by 945pm, and had my wife help me get them into the basement.. they are going to powdercoat tomorrow morning "Performance coatings" in Auburn for sandblasting, and powdercoating

I got these off craigslist... guy had bought them for a project truck, but sold the truck for more than he paid for it before the sliders showed up....

I emailed the guy and never heard back. Nice deal. If I had known you had a hook up willing to travel, I would have had you get that prinsu rack for sale down that way.

From what I understand, it was basically a pressure cooker that blew. The crew running it probably saw the numbers redlining, realized that the valves weren't working, and beat feet out of there. Even so, super lucky. My cousin lives in town and says that there was debris all over the place, even a mile or two out.

WILL DO, I went to Performance Product Painting, in Auburn right by the airport... its a huge shop, and they have the ability to do full vehicle frames... He said in an e-mail it would be a 1-2 week turnaround, but with this covid-19 crap who knows... also planning to have them do my SSO hybrid bumper the same when it shows up... covid-19 really put a hamper on production for everything...

Cool Ill be looking forward to hearing how they do. I just got my full set of skid plates in. Was going to paint them by hand, but thats a frigging ton of real estate to cover with 3 coats on the top and again on the bottom.. Might say eff that and just drop everything off for PC

My RCI sliders were ordered this week. I was thinking of going rattle can given my history with going places I don't belong. If there was a cheap, decent place locally, I would consider getting them powder coated.

Does anyone have a recommended alignment tech? I’ll have an icon delta joint UCAs here soon, coil overs are TBD.

WHERE AT? have a guy here in Thomaston, and I know a guy in Lincolnville. but dont really know about the rest of the state... I'd wait until you have everything ready, and just get it all installed in a weekend, then go get an alignment on a monday. and i mean everything... AAL/leafpacks, springs struts, alignment tab reinforcements, UCA's LCA's.. etc.. whatever system you are putting on... do it all in one go.. and get it as close as you can with a tape measure then take it to an alignment shop... toe in about 1/8" will get you there, dont worry about castor or camber... the alignment shop will deal with that unless you are getting the SPC UCA's then they have recommended settings..
