6:38am Wednesday bull. We didn't even get to our spot when we heard him coming thru the woods with 2 cows. Hell of a morning

And here is the after. Don't mind my lack of organization, I was just trying to get meat in to freeze without shelves collapsing.

Zone 1, we normally go up for birds but were real fortunate to come away with 2 bull tags.

Nice! I had a friend go up to the allagash, they saw 60 some odd cows, never got a shot on a bull, they came home skunked.

It will go down as the toughest Zone 1 bull hunt I can see on record, by about 20% even. This zone is normally around 90% (anecdotally, 10% would be people who have last-minute emergencies and people looking for a specific moose i.e. 50"+) and the Oct bull hunt was like 44%.

Overlanding/Camping Trailer question. I have a nice trailer with a RTT, but it is a little less than what my wife wants. I am thinking about getting an overland trailer like an Escapade or Boreas (teardrop/utility box). My biggest concern is that all of these trailer companies seem to build their stuff for the west (dry) and in the east, it is always wet. Does anyone here have experience with one in the moist east?

I’m not surprised. I was at bird camp off the Pinkham rd Oct. 7-9, only saw one cow and a calf all weekend. Too warm, too much cover in the woods, and too many messy logging ops.

This summer I have seen more moose than ever. But that’s always the case before the season opens.

Not really. You will see the most during the rut. I have seen 33 moose during the cow hunt, which is after the rut. The temps this year certainly had most to do with it. 82 on Wednesday was nuts. The note about the logging operations may be a factor this year. I have been going up to our area for almost a decade and they were doing more cutting than I have ever seen before. The mill in St. Pamphile had soo much wood stacked up.

I’ve never been that far north on the western side of the state, but the amount of clear cutting I’ve seen makes me sad if I’m honest.

We're usually bird hunting up there, so of course we see a ton of moose. This time, my buddy and I must have found them where they live, it was unreal how much activity we saw/heard in a few short days, even in the heat.

Did anyone ever end up getting an undercoating / Fluid Film day setup? I know there were several local members here interested. With the temps dropping into the high 30s I would expect MDOT to start spraying that salt brine soon down here.. :(

What is that? A factory plug in the frame? Thought Toyota used plastic not rubber, but could have changed on later third gens

Anyone know a good reasonable place to get the ovtuned? The wonky 3rd gen auto tran is getting a bit tiring. I know there is s million threads on here about it. Anyone have it done with or without success?

I appreciate it! I am open to suggestions.

I don't think I have any factory updates. Unless done before I bought it, but I doubt that. Does it help with the endless gear hunting?
