Anyone have any input on the road conditions North of Portland? I'm suppose to be traveling up to Fort Fairfield today.

At about 7 this morning 295 from Freeport to Gardiner was in pretty good shape. Secondary roads not so much. They were treated with the usual half assed dispersed piles of sand down the middle of the road. Hopefully this helps... Good luck, drive safe!

Yeah, Rt 126 was totally clear. My road and Rt 132 were definitely NOT clear, but they were more than passable. I even was in the Blue Gumdrop this morning because the GF was worried about the road conditions, so I let her take the Tacoma and I took her Honda Fit.
She put her old Honda in the ditch last winter on a crappy day, and since then she's turned into a real grandma when it's icy or snowy. Looks like I've got to look into picking up an older 4x4 this summer, for her to drive to work when it's crappy out.

Just saw initial reports of 10-14 for southern maine coming on Thursday and Friday. I was worried my snowblower wouldn't run since its been almost a whole week since we've had snow...

Yah. I've already got 10 foot snowbanks built up with the tractor around my house. I don't think I've ever had to stack snow that high in December. If it keeps up like this I'll have to start finding new places to put it, haha!

Oh yeah, we're going to catch hell the next two days. Just got a couple of gallons of high octane for the old snowblower. She'll run like a champ or blow up, fun either way :D

I should be picking up a torpedo heater for the garage soon. Really need to start my grille and get those lights wired up. The idea of wrenching is so much more appealing with the garage warmed up.

extremely, its not near as hard as I thought. I pulled them apart, painted them, let them cure over night then put them back together the next day. no problems so far. put a little clear silicone around the edge so hopefully that helps
