Ok, Totally by accident ( GPS and wife  :D )

I found a NICE sno-wheeling Class 6 in southern Maine....right off 95, Exit 2 or come in through the Berwicks like I did...This will definetely be added to Spring "runs"....

You will need to find this on your GPS ; http://www.yorkcenterforwildlife.org/

This is a smaller ride...1/2 hour -45 minutes tops IF you drive straight through BUT there are pull-offs,scenic views and sno-shoeing/cross country ski areas...Town/State parks...

Plus, if you have the time...stop in and see the folks at the Center....nice people doing an EXCELLENT service.....personal experience talking ;).

The wife's car needs 4 new tires BAD. Anyone know of a good place to get them. I am considering Town Fair Tire and Don Foshay's. As far as I can tell, they seem to have the best prices. I am in the Gardiner/Augusta area...

    No Wal-Mart or tirerack.com!

    P215/60R17

    Any input?

Either one would have the prices you want. Close for you would be fine. Try to have an idea of what you want going in. Lots of choices.

If you come in from town instead of Exit 2 off 95 the road is private/class 6....not maintained by plows....GPS does not know that and my wife brought a "Cardinal friend" that way with her Camry..:)..BUT agreed, just the road up,everything else is designated walking ...

Would be interesting to see what it looks like now after that "little storm" we just had....I would think skis or sno-shoes is only transport now....;)
