Here’s a 153 page research paper with recommendations for helping to control salt corrosion on vehicles, and testing the effectiveness of several salt neitralizers - they recommended washing with soap and water, in addition to using neutralizer treatments. The Salt-Away product was in it too:

DYI fluid film or get truck sprayed with Crown treatment. Depending on how often you run the beach may need to treat 2-3 times a year. Always wash of sand/salt from undercarriage after you are done but don't pressure wash off your treatment. I rigged up a yard sprinkler and let it run 15-20 mins.

I do a Crown treatment once a year they do the rockers and door jams.....whole 9yrds.
Then in the summer I spay fluid film to touch up spots.

I don't think its as big of a deal as people are making it out to be IF you do good cleanup afterwards. Same thing with owning a boat... I use my tacoma on the beach all the time, sometimes just fucking around other times launching my Zodiac. I just always spray it down just like I do my boat... with Saltaway.

San Diego lifeguards all use Tacomas and those trucks literally live on the beach... they're all spotless (even underneath) because they're routinely cleaned.

Lol, that's fucking bullshit. Maybe if you look at the brand new ones. They do get new ones every 3 years. I saw one of the last second gens and checked out he frame. Rust everywhere!

They park them on a sprinkler every night when they wind down and it really doesn't do much.

I would say fluid film 2-3 times a year and power wash for 10-15 minutes after every beach trip or just accept that shits gonna rust. I'd rather use my truck as a truck and have fun than baby it and leave it in the garage.
