That's what I use...about every 5th tank of gas. FWIW

Is that a little overkill using Seafoam every 5th tank? Can it damage anything in the fuel system or engine by using it that often? I'm just asking b/c I am at 42,000 miles and was thinking of using it before my next spark plug change.

Not to my knowledge...starting doing it after a friend told me that is what he had done for the life of his Hyundai Elantra (commuter ride)...car is still going strong a 218K (his son has it at college now)... he never had any repairs over the normal timing belt, tune ups, brakes, and struts and such. I didn't think a Hyundai could last that long.
