Maintenance app causing radio to crash?

I've searched and not found anything, although posting will most certainly cause me to find related topics...

I'm experiencing a strange issue where reminders for maintenance set in the radio app seems to be causing the radio to "crash" when the reminder comes up. Anyone else experience this?

 

it just restarts, although it usually restarts twice in a row, the first one never really gets all the way started when it restarts again. The second restart usually does the trick, and the first thing displayed after the warning message is the maintenance reminder. it's the last bit that makes me associate the issue with the maintenance app. it could be an amazing coincidence, but I don't think so.
