I am fast approaching 150k miles on my 08 V6 Tacoma. I have been pretty consistent with regular maintenance, thus far, but would like to step it up in order to see another150k. What maintenance(besides oil, filter, etc.) should I prepare for?

Have you been able to find any maintenance guides past 120k? Also, what about transmission fluid?

I would double check any lube points, cracked hoses and belts

Typically maintenance schedules stay the same throughout. It's just base on mileage intervals.

Had 205,768 miles on my 96.

Never been in the trans, rear end, or engine.

    Normal maint only.

Reason I sold it was that the harmonic balancer backed off / for some reason.

Had a new one put on and drove it a while no problem.

Decided to sell it before I did have a bigger problem just in case.

I bought a Tacoma for the reliability and have not been disappointed.
