I bought a used 2013 DCSB TRDOR last July and have been loving the truck. It was well cared for and was a 1-owner who had all the maintenance logs. It's also extremely low mileage for it's age. It had 16k on the odometer when I bought it in July and is sitting at 21k now.

The previous owner kept it very clean but didn't do much maintenance outside of 6 month oil changes since it wasn't really hitting mileage intervals for more major services. He did have it lifted and the ECGS bushing installed at 12k, so I'm assuming the front diff fluid had to be changed then. He also put on an ARB rear diff breather at the same time and a rear diff skid, but I'm not sure if the breather can be installed without touching the rear diff fluid.

I changed the engine oil, greased driveshaft, greased and lubed uniball UCA's, and rotated tires last October at 18k.

This is my first low-mileage for age vehicle, so I was wondering if there's any maintenance I should be doing ahead of the mileage intervals on the service manual? Everything is working great on the truck, but I want to keep it that way. I'll be doing the maintenance myself, so cost isn't a concern.

For the fluids I would say if in doubt change them.

Coolant is also due by age (10 years 100k for first change, 5 years 50k for subsequent changes).

Might want to check the age of the tires as well, if they are more than 8 years old or showing signs of cracking/dry rot they should be replaced.

Coolant and brake fluid are the often overlooked ones, and frankly some of the most age sensitive

Thanks for the recommendations. Coolant was one that concerned me, so I’ll add it to the list.

The tires are 6 yrs old but not showing any signs of cracking or rot and look brand new. I’ll keep an eye on them for sure though.

Good to know. Brake fluid may still be original so that’s one I can tackle for sure.
