6" Drop Bracket Suspension Lift with coil spacers and a 1" body lift. Trailmaster add-a-leaf in in the back with a 3" block.

I checked the fuel pump and it does sounds like its working, I also took out the new wires and put the old wires back in and I am still getting the same problem.

How does the firing order correlate to the way the wires are set up? Does the number one coil fire and then the wire that is connected to the number one coil?

I just set the wires up like this and I really sounded like crap, I dont think that is the right way to set them up. It sounded way worse than before and shut off just the same.

Are all the coils plugged in with the right connectors? As in none of the wires got crossed, and are plugged in to a different coil?

What ever happened to your truck, happened during your tune up. Go back and double check everything, it's probably something simple.

my bad chevy has a completely different firing order to try to smooth out the engine. If firing alternates from side to side the engine tends to rock alot. to avoid this chevy firing is no two cylinders fire next to each other.

    Ex. chevy V8 1,8,4,3,6,5,7,2

That diagram is exactly what I was looking for. I did have them hooked up correctly.

Is there any way I could run a code or would it need to actually run for longer than 2 seconds?

if it dies out fairly quick, it should throw a code. I know a friend of mine was teaching his x gf to drive stick, and she kept stalling it out..a misfire code popped on

I got the code and figured out that the problem is most likely a bad connection at the ignition control module. The clip was sightly melted at one end and I couldnt get it to stay in. So I need to get a new one.

I havent got it going yet I called around to about 25 different junkyards in the area to try and get a cheaper igniter. The dealer wanted around $500 for the igniter and the clip. I got one from a junkyard for $50. I need to solder the wires together and then we will see what happens. But I am 95% sure that once I replace it, it should work.

Try this, try and start the engine many times, then go to the tailpipe and sniff. If you can smell raw gas you are not getting spark, if you are not smelling raw gas it is fuel line.

If no raw un ignited gas smell check the fuel line. Pulll out the gas filter and blow through it. It is one way. It needs to be mounted so that you are able to blow through it in the direction of the gas tank ---> engine.
