So my maintenance light came on over the weekend. Is there a way to tell what kind of maintenance it needs (oil, air etc.) I just bought the truck about 4 months age and don't know if its ready for an oil change or not since I don't have record when the last time the oil was changed. Thanks

If it's at 5k it's just a tire rotation and check fluids

Probably oil change. Comes on every 5K-ish or so and ^

You can reset it though using the steering wheel controls

It’s an automatic thing that comes on every x miles and needs to be reset. The procedure is in the manual but it’s also all over the internets/YouTube.

You’ll get used to resetting it, I wanna say it’s an every 5k routine

Quikfix seat risers and lic plate mount, MESO interior and stage 1 tails, glove box and console dividers, shelf for center console, FACTOR 55 hitch link, TC bed stiffeners, OE bed mat,
This is overly simplified and depends on the conditions the truck is used in.....

5K intervals = oil change and tire rotation
    20K intervals = cabin filter + 5K stuff
30K intervals = air filter, diffs, manual trans and t-case + 5K stuff
60K intervals = spark plugs + 5K, 20K, 30K and fluid change for auto trans

these will vary with model, engine etc but are the "standard" service intervals for most cars and trucks

go into your settings on your HU and check maintenance and it should tell you there. you can reset and change any settings you want in there. also when you are done with the maintenance, turn the key on (don't start the truck) and push in the trip odometer shaft and hold it until the odometer flashed 00000 to reset it and turn off the light. its also in your manual on how to reset it.

Its the 5K reminder for fluid check and tire rotation, oil change is every 10K.
