    Hello Maniacs !

I travel a lot for work so my Truck is , like many, something i like to keep on top of. Especially considering how much these things cost I'd like to keep this thing for quite a while. Most of my driving is Highway with some off road at construction and mining sites. I don't tow anything either.

I've hit 140,000km's (around 86,000 miles) and putting together a list of maintenance i want done at this point. I'm increasing my oil changes now to every 8,000km and not Toyota's schedule of 16,000.

To those about to chime in on Doing these myself, I can't. I live in an apartment. + if the dealership f***s something up they get to pay to make it right.

This is the list of items I'm going to have my Dealership do.

    1) change differential fluid
    2) change transmission fluid
    3) Change transfer case fluid
    4) Flush and clean fuel injectors
    5) Change coolant ( know i could wait but i'm on a roll with this service so .. :D)

Spark plugs were done at 97,000km and brake fluid replaced at 87,000km

Anything else you would add or something that should be replaced because it has a bad habit of wearing out soon.

Also lower your spare to be sure it isn’t rusted, when you get a flat bad time to check it…lol

    looks like my list

Brake fluid was done at 87,000 km but that was 50,000km ago so it certgainly cant hurt to get it done as well. I forgot about Power steering fluid. Thanks for reminder.

Added to list. Thank-you. If I'm going to spend the money and Johnny mechanic is under my hood anyways no use not getting it done.

If your 2017 is 4x4, it probably has 2 greasable Zerks on the front shaft. If so, hopefully those were addressed over the years. You mention you live in an apartment. You might inquire about a Cat shield if you don't already have one. Cat shield came to mind even though it is not a maintenance item.

Do you care what kind of oil/fluids they use?
If so ask if you can bring them "your preferred" brand, just ask them the type and amount if you are not sure.

They do not use the best and obviously more expensive brands, they do not even put Toyota Brand oil in for oil changes.
Its money to them and they will use bulk.

Ask them what oil they use and an honest tech will say "the slick brown kind"
