Just gassed up my truck and started it up and noticed the "maintenance required" light up for about 10 seconds and then disappeared. I also just went over 4500 miles today too. Normal?

I believe it blinks at startup between 4500-4999 and at 5000 it stays on until you reset it (and hopefully change the oil)

Edit: I have a second gen

yeah that's a regular service reminder, not a problem indicator. you can clear that message manually in the settings.

Yup thats what it does on the third gen. Flashes on 500 miles prior to the service, then solid once you hit 5000.

When it comes on solid at 5K all that is required is inspection and tire rotaion. Oil at 10K on Gen III.
