Found the maintenance & warranty info for my '11 on Toyota's website. I bought my truck used at just shy of 90k miles. I asked the dealer i bought it from what kind of maintenance was done before selling the truck, so i could know what i should replace or not. He didn't know. He just told me that their mechanics do everything thing they can to get the truck running as good as possible. Yeah, whatever

So i pulled out the cabin and engine air filters just to see if they replaced the simple shit. Both brand new, so they (or the previous owner) obviously did something. Checked the dipstick when i bought the truck 3k miles ago and the oil was new. Thinking about buying some new plugs, because if i go to the trouble of pulling the old ones out i might as well replace em anyways. What about ignition wires? I don't see those being recommended to be replaced in the maintenance schedule. Also, if i don't know whether or not the previous owner flushed the ATF regularly, should i just let it be? How often should coolant be flushed? Is it in issue if its never been flushed in the past, like it is for transmissions?

The way i understand it, on a non 4x4 vehicle the schedule goes kinda like
every 5k: check fluids, replace oil+filter, rotate tires & check pads & drums
every 15k: retorque propeller shaft (where, & do you really need a torque wrench?), inspect all the shit listed on schedule.
every 20k: check cabin air filter and replace as needed
every 30k: replace engine air filter, replace plugs

Am i missing anything important not listed on the schedule? I'm really anal about maintenance and i like to take good care of my things. Totally happy spending extra time and money to make sure i get the most out of this ride.

Thanks in advanced for reading my novel:D

At that age and miles I would replace all fluids for peace of mind.

Theres no risk of a tranny flush revealing a hole in a gasket in the transmission and creating a leak?

also, being that my taco is an '11 trd sport 2wd, it doesn't have an actual limited slip differential, its just a computerized one that controls tire spin and braking, right? So if i replace the diff gear oil, i don't need to add LSD additive?
