    My 2015 Tacoma has 105,000 miles on it. What problems should I anticipate and what actions should I take to avoid problems.

    Are you the original owner? Do you know or have the maintenance history? Where has this vehicle spent most of its life? (Northern salt or southern sand?) Fluids and filters would be a good start, everything else listed would be good to get eyes on to know how close it is to failure.

    Change all the fluids
    -Oil
    -Coolant
    -Gear Differential
    -Windshield
    -Brake (and bleed)
    -Power steering (maybe)
    -Transmission (pan drain and fill)

    Change your filters
    -Cabin
    -Air
    -Oil (during oil change)
    -Fuel (inside the fuel tank)

    Change your spark plugs or check them to see how much life is left, but to me, if you have them out - just put new ones in and call it good. You already did the work.

    What's the age of your battery? How do the battery terminals look? Are they corroded and rusty? Is the alternator original? Check your all your frame grounds for corrosion.

    Check your body bushings, brakes and pads, suspension bushings (UCA, LCA, Steering, and Tie Rod, Rear leaf springs and mount) and CV's (if you're 4wd).

    Check your U-joints and grease (3 zerks if 2wd, or 5 zerks if 4wd), check your center carrier bearing for excessive play (more than 1/4 in of play in any direction).

    Check the hoses and lines in your engine for dryness and cracking. Use a bright light to check for leaks. Be weary of a pristine cleaned engine compartment as the previous owner could be hiding leaks. Check the engine compartment in the dark with a UV flashlight to check for AC leaks, they'll show up bright green under UV.

    Check all the lights to ensure they all work both interior and exterior.



    I'm sure that I'm missing some but to start it off, I'd just change the fluids and filters if I was in your shoes. If you plan on doing your own work, there are things to make your job easier like speed bleeders, fumoto drain valves, Lexus drain plugs, etc...

    You can expect to do front wheel bearings in the next 30k miles.
    Nothing much you can do to prevent it.

    Other than that, JustAddMudd did a good job with suggestions.

    I'm waiting for this next. I'm at 115k and already blew the head gasket and ground my u-joint needle-bearings to a fine black powder (both happened at almost the exact same time). Water pump was seeping as was the bypass tube...

    Sell it and buy a Ford.
