Not as many as the 98..
Both are good fields, with many job options. Networking probably pays a bit more than EMT.

Two totally different fields of study. If it were me I would go emt but I am biased, seeing as how my major is nursing. Basic emt's only make around 7-8 bucks an hour, paramedics jump up to around 11. To the guy in fla that says emt's make upper 20's, I am moving to your area. Never heard of them making that much.

I'm an EMT in San Bernardino. It's a cool job and i see a lot of awesome stuff, but it pays :crapstorm:. I would go insane if i worked a cubicle day in and day out. i'd be the guy that pops in and says 'thanks for the candy' haha. but being an EMT opens a lot of other doors, into the clinical field (hospital), you can go on to be a paramedic and work fire department, go p.d. and be a swat medic or work a helicopter. its a pretty awesome field.

haha, i make 10.75 an hour to start. i work for AMR though. i think he meant upper 20's like yearly. i netted 29k last year. it's not much but it's a start.

I'm considered a high priced EMT and I grossed a little over $60k, I wish I could make this much in the civilian world doing the same thing.

dude, you can get your EMT in one semester, you dont need to major in it. get your cert if your interested in it. you wont regret it.
