I keep it Stock but Clean!
I am a weldor/ metal fabricator and I have been debating plasma cutting out some teeth for my taco's grill. I am attaching a rendering of what it might look like ( I used red so you can see it better) but will probably have them powder coated a shade of Grey. What do you guys think, make them or forget about it??[IMG]

kind of tacky i would say.. but since you are a metal fabricator, and you want to make a grill, why not something a little simpler, and sweet looking.. like a retro style, or a square pattern

I saw a Fronty with it (not on the grille, but the lower part) and I thought it looked sweet. I wanted to turn around and ask him about it but there was too much traffic and I've never seen it again........... -rye

Don't do it! Just because it looks kinda cool on a Miata doesn't mean it'll look as good on the Taco!!!

Aside from that, the people on the Mazda forums call them ghey...unless they're turboed.

If it won't cost you much, I think you should do it just so we can see the finished product... but ultimately, I think it's going to look lame.

On the last snow storm my truck had some dripping water that iced up and it looked kinda kewl on the grill.

It's worth a shot to see what it looks like. Can leave it off if you don't like it.

Since you metal fab and have access to a plasma cutter is it (plasma) on a CNC? If so do you could do something really cool! As an artist/sculptor I've used a local firm for some plasma CNC to develope artwork. I've toyed with the ideal of doing something one-off to my truck.

I have to vote good idea but not the design...get creative, even copy something better if you must. Good luck!
