    Maybe I missed something. Why did the brakes lock up ? They fixed the brakes while you drove a Tundra - what did they do to fix the brakes ? I never had that much trouble with brakes and I'm no mechanic - why did it take them so much time and effort ? Thanks.

    bilstein set at 1.75, Racho 5000 rear with 4 leaf kit, floor mats, high lift jack, pull hook in hitch, bed rail corner braces, severe duty brake pads and devil horns on the grill....
    It sounds like the brake was not put back together right after pulling apart the brake, axle and bearing...I would take a good look at the grease in the bearing after cooking it at 240 degrees.

    It had to do with the e-brake cable not being installed correctly on that side, it was loose. Made sense because the e-brake wasn't working worth a shit anyways. Anyways, it works fine now. One of the few service techs that I know has been there for years fixed it in just a few minutes for me...once he got to it. Smart man.


    landphil, no, they didn't. This dealership is more like family for me, many people I know... just the service kids aren't always the greatest. The general manager is my neighbor here at the parents house as well. It really is the best dealership you will come across on the sales side of things, they really go out of their way to help you. The manager never tried to sell me the Tundra, just being nice and hookin me up.
