Is your truck not a short bed? I don't think the stock ones are going to fit either if you've got the long bed.

If that's the case, I certainly appreciate the offer, and you've given me hope to continue looking, as well as find a different dealership.

To think, just hours ago I was almost going to trade my truck in and buy a fully loaded 2010. This is probably the first time the wife will be thankful I spend time on this site.

It's cool man. We tried, and I certainly appreciate it. I need to make a trip to SoCal one of these days with a Uhaul and just buy up spare parts.

Or the SoCal guys need to load up and head down this way for Mardi Gras bringing all of their spare parts with them. They could have a parade in front of my house and throw the parts in my lawn before heading down to NO.

I know that on the bushwackers, they sell ones specifically for the long bed or short bed but not both. I just assumed the OEM ones would be the same way.

Considering the linex option, but I just got a pm about a set in Corpus Christi for sale, so hopefully if things work out I'll be able to pick them up in a couple weeks. Then I'll just have to find a bumper.

And... finally get with the guy I've been supposed to be trading hoods with since last October.

Then I'll be ready to get to work on suspension and wheels, which will probably generate another one of my 5000 words essay posts. I know so little about truck suspension, and there are so many options, I almost have trouble sleeping sometimes.

I'll do that but checking with Toyota is what got me here today. Maybe I'll just ride by the dealership and take some measurements myself.

Yeah I knew they were going to be pricey, but that even surprised me some. Then what shocked me even more was after we decided the one the parts guy had gone and pulled out was the same one I had already, he if I wanted him to order me a set... the owner of the dealership basically called him an idiot for me.
