Ok, i have an 06 tacoma, 2wd, and want to see if i can
replace manual door locks with auto locks. is that even
possible to do. i am thinking you can swap out things from
other 06's or tacomas? what else can i swap out for my
    truck.

i mean i have roll up windows and manual door locks.

Go to you local Auto Stereo shop. For about $300.00 they can put a Viper alarm and power locks in. Works very well for me and I'm happy with it. I put the inside switch in one of the empty slots on the left side of the dash.

hey.. roll up windows can fail too.. Just more catastrophically than constantly.

I may go looking for a door trade, now that you got me thinkin. Wait.. I PAID for those parts.. I can't do that.
